TERMS & CONDITIONS

Last updated: 10 August 2026 · Centra Commercial Pty Ltd (ABN 73 699 930 053), Sydney NSW

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern the provision of cleaning and building & facilities services by Centra Commercial Pty Ltd, ABN 73 699 930 053, trading as Centra Commercial ("Centra Commercial", "we", "us", "our"), to any person or business that engages us for a quote, one-off service, or ongoing contract ("Client", "you"). By accepting a quote, signing a contract, or engaging Centra Commercial to perform work, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Quotes & Agreement

Quotes are provided free of charge and, unless stated otherwise, are valid for 30 days from the date of issue. Prices are in Australian dollars and exclude GST unless stated as GST-inclusive. A quote becomes a binding agreement once accepted by the Client, whether by written acceptance, electronic acceptance, or by proceeding with the booked service. For ongoing contracts, the specific scope of work, frequency, and pricing agreed at the time forms part of these Terms.

2. Bookings, Access & Site Requirements

The Client must provide safe and reasonable access to the property at the agreed time, including any keys, access codes, parking, or site inductions required. The Client must disclose any known hazards, fragile items, or areas requiring special care prior to the service. Centra Commercial is not liable for delays or additional charges caused by restricted access, incorrect site details, or conditions not disclosed at the time of booking or quoting.

3. Payment Terms

  • One-off services: payment is due within 7 days of the invoice date unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • Ongoing contracts: invoiced on the agreed cycle (weekly, fortnightly, monthly, or as otherwise agreed), due within 7 days of each invoice unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • Large or one-off contract jobs may require a deposit prior to commencement, as specified on the relevant quote or proposal.
  • Accounts not paid by the due date may be referred to a debt collection or mediation service, with any reasonable recovery costs payable by the Client.
  • All prices are subject to GST where applicable, shown separately on quotes and tax invoices in accordance with Australian tax law.

4. Cancellations & Rescheduling

We ask for at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule a booked service. Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice, or where our team is unable to access the site at the agreed time through no fault of Centra Commercial, may incur a fee to cover the labour already allocated to that visit. For ongoing contracts, either party may terminate the arrangement with 30 days' written notice, unless a different notice period is agreed in the contract — Centra Commercial does not use lock-in contracts.

5. Service Standards & Complaints

We aim to deliver every service to the standard agreed in the scope of work. If a service falls short, please contact us within 24 hours of the service being completed so we can inspect and rectify the issue — wherever reasonably possible, we will re-clean the affected area at no additional charge rather than offer a refund. This does not limit any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law (see clause 8).

6. Insurance & Liability

Centra Commercial holds public liability insurance for the services we provide. Except where caused by our negligence, we are not liable for pre-existing damage, wear and tear, or the loss of cash, jewellery, or other valuables left accessible on-site. Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, or remedy conferred on the Client by the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot lawfully be excluded.

7. Work Health & Safety

Centra Commercial operates in accordance with the Work Health and Safety Act 2011 (NSW) and Work Health and Safety Regulation 2017, and follows SafeWork NSW guidance for our industry. Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS) are maintained for higher-risk work, including working at heights, confined spaces, and post-construction cleaning. All chemicals used on-site are accompanied by a current Safety Data Sheet (SDS), and all staff complete a documented WHS induction covering safe work practices, PPE, and emergency procedures before starting on any site. Our team may decline to perform work, or use materials supplied by the Client, where doing so would present an unreasonable health or safety risk.

8. Fair Trading & Consumer Guarantees

Where the Client is a consumer under the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010), our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded, including that services will be provided with due care and skill, fit for any specified purpose, and delivered within a reasonable time. If we fail to meet a consumer guarantee, the Client is entitled to remedies under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these Terms is intended to limit rights available under NSW Fair Trading or the Australian Consumer Law. If you have a complaint that we haven't been able to resolve directly, you can contact NSW Fair Trading at fairtrading.nsw.gov.au.

9. Our People & Fair Work Compliance

All work under these Terms is carried out by Centra Commercial employees or engaged subcontractors in accordance with the Fair Work Act 2009 (Cth) and the applicable modern award, including minimum pay rates, entitlements, and safe working conditions. Where subcontractors are engaged for specialist work (for example pest control, pressure cleaning, or grounds maintenance), Centra Commercial takes reasonable steps to confirm they hold appropriate licensing, insurance, and comply with their own workplace obligations.

10. Confidentiality

Any information we access while performing services at your site is treated as confidential and will not be disclosed to any third party, except as required by law or with your consent.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time, for example to reflect changes in the law or how we operate. The current version will always be available at centracommercial.com.au/terms. For an existing ongoing contract, we will give reasonable written notice before any material change takes effect.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
